Special Prizes
The Special Prize of H.S.H. Prince Rainier III
This prize, consisting of a sum of seven thousand five hundred Euros (7,500 €) and a plaque, will be awarded to the programme (in any category) which best deals with nature conservation, the environment, the protection of threatened fauna and flora and the fight against pollution.
Prize of the "Monaco Red Cross"
This Prize seeks to recognize a News programme that demonstrates at least one of the ideals of the Red Cross: humanity, impartiality, independence, neutrality, charity, unity, universality.
The Monaco Red Cross undertakes to confine screenings of the award-winning programme to its members or to non-paying audiences with the aim of promoting the fundamental ideals of the Red Cross.
Prize of the "International Committee of the Red Cross"
This prize, launched in 2003 to mark the 140th anniversary of the creation of the International Committee of the Red Cross, will be awarded to a news programme which promotes the principles of international humanitarian law by covering a conflict in terms of its main consequence: the victims.
The ICRC considers that the attitude of the public towards the victims of armed conflicts should be characterised not just by compassion or indignation, but also by shared responsibility.
AMADE Prize awarded under the patronage of UNESCO
The World Association of Friends of Children
The aim of this Prize is to reward a programme of excellence (a Television Film or a News programme) which echoes the ideals of UNESCO and AMADE and which deals with an issue of human relationships whose plot and treatment neither feature violence nor inscite it.
SIGNIS Prize
The World Catholic Assocation for Communication
The World Catholic Association for Communication, SIGNIS, awards the SIGNIS “Dove”, either to the best Television Films or to the best News programme. This SIGNIS prize will honour a production which reflects the goals of the association, more specifically the support for quality television production that highlights human and spiritual values.

The International URTI Grand Prix for Author's Documentaries
Awarded by the International Radio and Television University, the International Grand Prix for Author's Documentaries rewards excellence in television productions, which meet the objectives of URTI over current social problems, and in the fields of art and culture.
This Prize is the one of the most sought after distinctions of the Festival with its trophy having been created by the famous sculptor Arman. A Gold Medal and a Silver Medal are also awarded by the Jury that may also decide to grant a Special Mention to one of the competing programmes.
A debate with the Jury President will take place on Monday 11th June at 7:30 pm at the Salle Belle Epoque of the Hotel Hermitage (by invitation only).
