MONTE CARLO TELEVISION FESTIVAL TO HONOR HBO
WITH SPECIAL GOLD NYMPH AWARD

HBO will receive a special Gold Nymph Award at the 47th annual Monte-Carlo Television Festival for its outstanding contribution, leadership and worldwide excellence in programming and production of movies, mini-series and series, it was announced today by David Tomatis, CEO of the Festival.
The award will be accepted by HBO Films president Colin Callender at the Festival's Opening Ceremony on Sunday, Jun 10, which also features the international premiere of HBO's upcoming film "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" in the presence of executive producers Dick Wolf and Tom Thayer, director Yves Simoneau, and cast members Adam Beach and August Schellenberg.
"We are honored to present this award to HBO. The company has clearly emerged as one of the world's leading programmers of quality television," Tomatis commented.
“We are gratified that the Festival has chosen to bestow this prestigious honor upon us, and on the behalf of my colleagues at HBO, I am proud to accept this award,” said Callender.
