Jules Burns

He joined Granada in 1976 where he worked until 2003. Following a range of management and business affairs roles he was appointed Joint MD, with Andrea Wonfor, of Granada Production in 1995. In this role he oversaw the bringing together of Granada, LWT, Yorkshire and Unity’s production and distribution operations and the growth and acquisition of Granada’s international production and education businesses. In 2000 he was appointed the MD, Operations of Granada plc.
In 2003 he set-up All3Media with two Granada colleagues, Steve Morrison and David Liddiment, with backing from Bridgepoint Capital and the company has since acquired eight independent production companies operating in the UK, the USA, Holland and New Zealand, an international distribution company now called All3Media International and a talent agency. In 2006 Bridgepoint Capital were replaced as backers for the business by Permira and in 2007 All3Media launched the process of acquiring MME, one of the largest independent production companies in Germany.
Alongside his work for ALL3MEDIA he is a non-executive of Liverpool FC.
